5/2/2005 I set up a temporary home at yahoo groups. No, I am not crazy! :) Yahoo is where people expect us to be and I want them to be able to find us. In the meantime, I will make the posts public and look for a way to archive it elsewhere. It is called SciFiNoir2

5/3/2005 - I have obtained the software needed to run the site and purchased some domains. I found out my web hosts provided discussion list software. if I can find someone to help moderate, I will set up the list using the same format.

5/6/2005 - I have made our archive public and signed up Scifinoir Literature and the temporary list ScifiNoir2 to be archived at The Mail Archive. The Mail Archive is a The Mail Archive provides a searchable archives of public internet mailing lists. I am doing this to protect our postings unitl I get our web site up. To find out more about The Mail Archive, got to: http://www.mail-archive.com

5/13/2005 - Everyone really loves the scifinoir name, but I still see the need to rebrand the group. I came up with a hybrid solution after someone pointed out that scifinoir.net and scifinoir.us web available. We would still change the name, but keep a historical archive and the What Happened To SciFiNoir at Yahoogroups FAQ on the scifinoir.net domain. Of course the site will prominently feature links to the new portal.

5/15/2005 - I sent out a press alert about what yahoo is doing to SciFinoir and other using PR Web. In addition to be sent out to editors dealing with Internet consumer issues, it while also be submitted to google news, google and a few other search engines.
